Role: Based from offices in Edinburgh, this is a fantastic opportunity with scope to work on a spectrum of interesting projects. Working within the M&E design team, you will manage the mechanical building services elements of projects, from concept through to completion, ensuring a best in class service is delivered across all aspects of the projects. This is a client facing role where you will be expected to liaise with clients to gain a better understanding of their mechanical and electrical building requirements and produce conceptual design drawings that meet the requirements of the brief. Your designs will focus on integrating efficiencies such as carbon emission reduction and sustainability to optimise building energy performance. This is a rewarding role for the right candidate.

Experience Required: A background in engineering with detailed knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems within a building services capacity.

In addition, candidates should meet some or all of the following criteria:
o A proven track record of delivering successful mechanical design solutions across a variety of large scale projects.
o Experience of relevant design software such as AutoCAD.
o Confidence and ability to maximise the level of responsibility taken on projects.
o Able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
o Ability to work pro-actively and manage tasks with limited supervision.
o Good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications: Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
